A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM THE DESK OF OUR CEO

It doesn’t matter what business you are in, there will be days that are harder than others. We’ve all had those days that start tough from the beginning. You know, the days where you go to tie your shoe and the shoelace breaks and you’re already late because your alarm didn’t go off. You grab your keys and drop them 3 times in a row. Then you can’t even get the key in the door the first time. And to top it all off you spill coffee on yourself right before walking into a client meeting.

We all have those days.

What makes the day different with the Ellison Helmsman method?

Mindfulness. Awareness.

By being rooted in the present moment, we learn to understand that the present adversity is itself the experience we are supposed to be having. These tough days toughen us. We become stronger and more emotionally masterful while learning new tactics to deal with challenges.

What was a tough day becomes a “right on track” day with our Method. All things have reason. Progress exists even in failure.

The single most influential decision you can make on tough days is to think about who your partners are in your vision.

I’ve learned that even when I’m having a tough day, I can still always be a point of guidance and encouragement to others who are having a tough day. This is one of the secrets in life. Engage a partner who will help you overcome your tough days even when they are having their own tough days.

That’s what we do.

Remember to keep us in mind.

But remember that even if we aren’t partners yet…it is all working out perfectly even when it’s tough.

Learn to appreciate those new business muscles you’re developing and don’t forget to ask:

“If I want how it’s going to be different, how many different ways can I (or someone who knows more than me) innovate to get me a different and better experience?”
